It is with great sorrow that I inform you of the passing of Anne Gwaltney, Homeownership Manager for VHDA. Anne's passion was homeownership education and she worked tirelessly to provide education and support to first time homebuyers, counselors and housing counseling agencies.

We will miss her passion and enthusiasm. Anne was the Board President of VAHC from 2001-2004 and remained an avid supporter and lifetime member.

I urge you all not to let Anne's commitment to housing counseling be in vain. Let's use this difficult time to re-energize our own commitment to assist our community in securing safe, decent and affordable housing.
